Cayo Scoop! The Ecology of Cayo Culture

The new Cayo Cultural Center, the Soul Project, is having their soft grand opening this Saturday, December 15th. Great job, Daniel Velazquez and Abdela Bedran!

"Cayo's new Soul Project Art and Cultural Center has some local Belizean art on exhibit. They have done a few movie screening there, including Kurse a di Xtabai. It will be opening for the general public soon, but if you see it open, check it out."

The Soul Project, Cayo's new Cultural center, is almost finished.  Can't wait for the grand opening.

 

"Abdela Bedran and I are building this cultural space, modeled after a project he saw in New Orleans, these are the pictures of the work in progress, this will be a art gallery with a stage for open mic.  We will have beer and wine, and Running W beef grill, special cuts aged steak ect.  Real tacos Mejicanos, this will sustain the culture"

The Soul Project Cultural Center in downtown Cayo is coming along nicely.  Check out some of the art that is already set up.  There will be a lot more.  Daniel Velazquez and Abdela Bedran have really done a great job so far.  The Soul Project is located on Buena Vista street, right next to the SI Commercial building.  Opening soon!
