NICH brought Cellula to the Cayo Welcome Center, where they jammed out their rocking reggae beats. The music was energetic, and the crowd had a great time. Thanks, Cellula and NICH!

"The Panamanian Reggae group Cellula played a free concert at the CAYO Welcome Center on Saturday. They knew their reggae, playing many oldies, and some of their own creations. Having a trupet section, and a funky keyboardist set them aside. The rain didn't stop them from having a great concert. Thanks, Cellula!

The La Ruta Maya Cultural Night was the best one yet. Ascenthium played at Bamboo Bar, and the New Sensation Band played at the Cayo Welcome Center.

Bamboo Bar, Bambu Tee, and Mazda Auto Select are having a July 4th celebration, with fireworks and all, at the Cayo Welcome Center this Saturday, July 4th. Have some food, drinks, music, and a great time. The festivities start at 2:00pm.

Bamboo Bar is under new management, and while it has the same name, it's a completely different bar. Great company, superb bartenders, excellent drinks - try their kamakazis or baby guinesses - and a cool vibe. Saturdays are their special days where they have someone from the community do something there. They have the Cuban Pig Roast last Saturday, and tomorrow will be trance with DJ Feel Awesome.

What a way to celebrate the grand opening of the new Cayo Welcome Center! During the day they had the Taste of Belize BBQ competition. At night, they had Panerrifix playing the steel drums, along with other live music, and a beer tent in front of the new Bamboo bar. The drinks were flowing.

Many of the buildings are almost finished in the Cayo Welcome Center. It appears more massive now. The wooden structures are nearing completion. The new bar, Bamboo, is also nearing completion.

The Cayo Animal Welfare Society is having their 2nd annual Chili Cook Off on October 29th. It'll be at the Bamboo Bar during the big Halloween party.

Bamboo Bar is finished with their post-hurricane refurbishments, and they are celebrating by having a concert this Saturday, August 27th. Ascenthium will be playing, along with Barefoot Skinny, and Eddie Allen! Hot Taco will be there, and there will be BBQ. New sand, new paint, and the same great food and drinks.

The July 4th celebrations at the Cayo Welcome Center were a sight to see. They crammed 12 minutes of fireworks into 3 minutes, if you were wondering what all the explosions were. And just about every local band was there playing throughout the night. Thanks, Bamboo Bar, Bambu Tee, and the SISE Town Council for one of the best celebrations ever at the CWC!

Oscar Burke, famous Belizean guitarist and vocalist, will be highlighting the Jazz Raggae World Best event tonight at the new Bamboo Bar, located at the Cayo Welcome Center. There will also be an art display by Walter Castillo, and sushi on the menu. Bamboo Bar is coming up with some creative ideas for their Super Saturdays.

Pictures from Lucky 5's Poker Run. The day started out overcast, but ended up being the perfect day for the poker run. 6 different stops: Lucky 5, Snooty Fox, Remo's Roadhouse, Midas, Camp 6, Bamboo Bar, and then back to Lucky 5 to see who won the $450. There was even a stop at the new Soul Project to see some live music. Congratulations to the winner(s).
