The new Destination Belize is out! The new Destination Belize is out! The new...well, it is exciting. Tanya McNab and her creative team hit the ball out of the park. Cayo comes first in this issue(page 24), as it should, and they have a great 'must do' list. Check it out.

The 2014 edition of the BTIA's Destination Belize magazine has been launched. They always have a great section on Cayo, of course. Last year's edition is online.

Destination Belize 2012 Magazine Online

The Destination Belize Magazine is online in high quality. It's the BTIA's official visitor magazine for Belize. There are cultural articles and interviews throughout the book. Cayo has its own chapter, and it starts on page 103. It admits from the beginning that we are the eco-tourism capital of Belize.

Destination Belize in Cayo

Destination Belize is coming to Cayo tomorrow to talk about the new look for the 2016 issue. They'll be at Cahal Pech starting at 6:00pm.

"We're heading out West! McNab Design Ltd. and Belize Tourism Industry Association (BTIA) are stopping in San Ignacio as we make our way across country making sales presentations for The New Destination Belize. Hope to see you there!"

Traveling in the Year of the Maya

Joshua Berman wrote a great article for Destination Belize:

"There I was, chest-deep in the Maya underworld, the sound of slapping water echoing through the cavern. My headlamp washed through the crystal-clear water of this underground river, revealing tiny fish trying to nibble at my knees. I was in Actun Tunichil Muknal—Cave of the Stone Sepulcher."
