"On Sunday, January 17th, Galen University graduated 56 students in our Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in a charming and inspirational ceremony at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel...  The top Master’s graduate was Mr. Hsun Chen who achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.92 (Summa Cum Laude) and the top Bachelor’s graduate was Ms. Nellie Moralez (Magna Cum Laude), who finished her studies with a total score of 3.809."

The GOB has started handing out the 9000 ASUS tablets to tertiary students all over Belize.  UB students received their tablets yesterday.  Students from all 11 junior colleges, UB, UWI, and Galen will be receiving tablets this week.  Great initiative.  Thanks, GOB!

The Galen Student Government is having their Halloween Bash tomorrow night at Barrio Fino.  Cloud 9 will be there.

In related news, in Cayo, Fuego is having their Halloween costume party and Serendib is having their anniversary special.

Tonight is Galen's Back to School fundraiser at Meluchi's, and the theme is Soca.  DJ Jesse will be there.  Karaoke will resume next week.

While tonight is the big dance fundraiser for Siarsha Alvarez at Club Next, today, the students from Galen had a car wash fundraiser at Hode's.  All proceeds will go towards Siarsha's medical expenses.  Get a clean car, and support a great cause at the same time.

Galen had their GIVE fundraiser, which will allow them to award a high school  scholarship to a lucky student.  The Galen Eagles Band was there providing great entertainment.  Thanks, Galen!

"On Saturday, October 12 2013, the Fall 2012 MBA cohort hosted it's GIVE (Galen Initiative for a Valued Education) fundraising initiative at the ITVET, in Belize City.  The gala was executed as the capstone project in partial fulfillment of the Master in Business Administration degree, with greater efforts in fundraising for a 4 year high school scholarship that will be given to one deserving Belizean student.  The dinner/dance gala was well organized, and great support was received from guests in attendance.  Filled with enthusiasm, all were happy to be a part of such a momentous occasion! Job well done Galen Eagles!!"
