This year's La Ruta Maya is just over 3 weeks away. It starts on March 6th, and ends on National Heroes and Benefactor's Day. Thanks to Island Films(Ben Popik, Joanna Popik, & Marshall Rimmer) for the video. The Belize Film Festival has released a video with clips from 25 of this year's movies that will be presented. Kurse a di Xtabai, which was filmed all around Cayo, and features many Cayo locals and students, has quite a few clips in it. Island Films did a great job on this one!

Island Films has a great video out about the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, and its time here in Belize. It's worth a watch, and you'll catch yourself smiling. "The FIFA World Cup Trophy made its way to Belize and lucky fans from all over the country had the opportunity to visit and get their photo taken with the trophy. We had delegates, politicians, football players from the National Team and of course the fans. Bowen & Bowen along with Coca-Cola Belize are happy to be part of this history making event in Belize.
