Kelp forests thriving in some locations despite environmental stressors, Stanford researcher finds | Stanford News | Coastal Restoration | Scoop.it
In a global survey of kelp forests, scientists found that some populations are remaining stable or increasing despite global climate change in part due to local management of stressors such as pollution, fishing and coastal development.
Dulce Lopez's insight:
It is nice to read positive news about an ecosystem/species thriving. As the title of this article implies, Kelp forests are thriving and doing well despite anthropogenic stressors.
