Children can interact in several different ways. After learning the song, they then recycle and practise what they have learnt with fun language games. Correct answers win a prize which the young learner then uses in the app's original drawing and artwork feature.

BigMind is a perfect tool to create a mind map. It can record your ideas, create to-do list, take note at meeting and anywhere else you require a fast, intuitive method to collect ideas and information and think things through.
This looks like a great tool for those who really like their mind maps and their iPad. It's not free, but at $4.99 (£2.99) it won't break the bank.

This is an interesting looking platform to connect teachers and learners for online lessons. It provides the tools to enable teachers to create their own courses and then register students. Not sure what percentage goes to the platform provider, but a good way to get started as a freelance online teacher.

This is an interesting app for both iPhone and Android. You can practice dialogues with a virtual character. There is some free content, but the app runs on subscriptions (£2.99 a month). Worth giving a try though to see how it works for you.

At http://www.learnclick.com it is very simple to create quizzes. For gap-filling exercises (so-called cloze tests) you just mark the words with your mouse. Learnclick.com also lets you generate drag & drop, drop down and matching exercises. You can insert images, video and sound into your quizzes. Share the quizzes with your students and view detailed statistics on how well your students performed. It is the ideal tool for language teachers.
Learnclick is a really useful tool. It isn't free, but at USD $1.59/month for teachers (students don't need to pay) it's very affordable (less than a cup of coffee) . Paying a small amount to support sites can also ensure that they continue to provide and develop a good service.
Our school district is implementing Anita Archer's Explicit Instruction and thes quizzes/activities will align well with her practices.

This is a nice way to create quizzes and manage students' results. there is a free account which allows you create up to 6 quizzes, but if you want more you can pay $5 a month for up to 26 quizzes and 101 registered students or $10 a month for unlimited use.
Another tool to quickly evaluate student progress.

The result is an interactive learning tour that transforms video from a “lean back” experience to an engaging “lean forward” activity.
This looks like a pretty impressive tool for creating flipped learning or any kind of interactive video which demands a response from viewers. It's made for education and has some LMS features so you can track students' responses. There is a free trial, but the lowest cost of a subscription is $15 a year.

All you need is a Microsoft Kinect for Windows 8, projector, and Ubi software. Our software provides a cost effective solution that can be used with off-the-shelf hardware instead of paying thousands for non-portable alternatives like an interactive whiteboard. Ubi provides a way for humans to interact with any surface in a way that is most natural and intuitive to us.
The implication this software has on the world is second to none.
This does look very impressive. The cheapest versio of the software comes in at $149 but you do also need a computer running Windows 8 and a Windows Kinect, but that's still a lot cheaper than the usual IWB and much more portable.

ExitTicket is a student response system designed to drive instruction and reteaching intervention via real time technologies and instructional strategies.
This is an interesting looking student response system. It allows teachers to set up in-class tests to measure how well sudents have understood their materials. It gives very detailed results that can be openly displayed or privately seen by teachers. There is a free version and a premium version which is still free for early adopters, but I guess they will start charging for it soon, so wise to sig up now before they start charging.

ExamJet Quiz Maker - Standard Edition is for one user, it can be installed on one computer (at home or at work). It also may be installed on one additional computer which belongs to the license holder, however under one restriction, it is allowed to use only one copy at any given time.

SimpleDiagrams2 is a small desktop application that helps you express your ideas quickly and simply. There's just enough functionality to describe a thought or capture a process.
SimpleDiagrams2 keeps the visual expression of ideas clear through the simple design of library items and backgrounds. Because the last thing you want to do is overload your audience with over-cooked visuals.
This is a nice desk top tool for creating diagrams, but only has a 7 day trial period. After that you can buy it for just under £20. It runs on adobe Air so is quick and easy to instal.

We want your students to be able to use your apps anywhere and at any time, eg also on the plane, on trains or busses. Therefore, users of your native apps can download the contents directly on their smartphones or tablets and use your apps even without data connection.
This looks like a great tool for creating educational apps for multiple platforms. It's free to use, but if you want to sell your apps through their app store, they take a 35% cut of your purchase price.

This looks like a great app if you want a professional level video messaging tool for your phone. I particularly like the video business card feature. Seems reasonably priced at $4.99 or £2.99 in the UK.
