There are no silver bullets when it comes to building a path to success for the new majority of higher education students, but using technology to make teaching and learning smarter is one way that is showing results.

This article was very interesting. I found that very often, new technology brings new educational opportunities. How do we build a path to success for more of the new majority of students – low-income and first generation students, students of color, working adults – who are coming to our campuses? The Adaptive Learning Market Acceleration Program (ALMAP) is a program that supported 17 colleges and universities using adaptive courseware to redesign and improve developmental and general education courses and included an assessment of outcomes, perceptions and costs led by SRI Education. Technology will continue to aid us in the field of education as it grows each day.
