If you are looking for some new tools to try this post is worth checking out. Twenty tech tools are included, each with a brief description. Have you heard of DoSomething.org? This site "encourages teens to band together and work for positive social change." How about Hippocampus? The Monterey Institute of Technology and Education provides great multimedia content geared to high school and college. The tools listed cover pre-school to college, but not all are free.

Great resource suggestions for integrating ICT to facilitiate students with impairments and learning difficulties. Allows them to learn and use ICT effectively and appropriately to access, create and communicate information and ideas, solve problems and work collaboratively, and in their lives beyond school in the 21st century.

A visual stimulus that would be an appropriate resource to support students as they evaluate designs and create designs.
Suggested Activities: -Students identify the technology that has replaced the technology shown. - Students complete comparison activity where they compare the benefits of the old and new technology and make judgements based on their observations. -Students choose a piece of technology that they currently use and create a new technology to replace it. |
